“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:9

Life Together focuses first and foremost on the fellowship of our Lord in the Divine Service. It also involves quite literally a life together. We live together not just on Sunday morning but in life: uplifting, supporting, and encouraging one another.

For events and activities at Bethlehem, we invite you to check out our newsletter and calendar. Also, join us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter for more up-to-date announcements.

Bethlehem Women in Mission

Motto: Serve the Lord with gladness.

Local Mission Statement: Provide a time for the women of Bethlehem Lutheran Church to come together to grow socially and spiritually.

National Lutheran Women in Mission

Mission Statement: As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.

Vision Statement: The Lutheran Women Missionary League is the leading group for LCMS women where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.

The group meets monthly to provide the women of Bethlehem Church an opportunity to grow socially and spiritually. We provide opportunities to grow spiritually through devotions, Bible study, mite dedications and mission projects’ Opportunities to grow socially are offered through monthly luncheons, small group interests, tea gatherings, and guest speakers.

BWM activities:

  • Bible Study Saturday morning
  • Christmas and Mother’s Day Tea
  • Monthly ladies’ luncheon at Red’s Old 395 BBQ
  • Crafting on Mondays and Saturdays

BWM mission projects:

  • Sewing homeless mats
  • Collecting socks and underwear for FISH
  • Christmas Angel Tree

Mite Box

Based on the Biblical account of the widow’s mite (Luke 21:1–4), the Mite Box is intended for regular contributions of “mites” — offerings above and beyond the support given to the congregation and the Synod. Mite Box contributions amount to millions of dollars that fund district and national mission grants and implement the LWML program.

The mites collected at Bethlehem on the first Sunday of each month are sent to the California-Nevada-Hawaii district to support both the district and national mission projects.

Silverlights (50+)

SilverLights is a social group for all who are 50+ (and Pastor is allowed too).

We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 11:30am. Bring your own lunch to the Fellowship Hall of the church.
